Well first of all I wish it was my restaurant
I bet if Jeff Ruby Lost the Law Suit the revenue

O.K. the fact is I may have handled it differently.
Every one in the Restaurant business knows the your credit card is over limit trick
When instead of yelling from the POS system your credit card is maxed out.
You swiftly tell the person you have a very important phone call or sir our owner would like to speak to you or something. The way Jeff handled this tells me Gorilla marketing 101 a topic I love to study.
Also I wonder if the Derby was not going on if anything would have been said.

I can almost imagine the thoughts running threw Jeff’s head, how can I take advantage of a full restaurant and OJ to best benefit.
